Student Hubs
briefly.
In the beginning, there was a dot.
We explore, research, and discover. We are a branding and research-oriented student group. Does that sound too serious? Maybe a little. From time to time, we leave our mark in the form of reports that might one day save the world—or at least make life a little easier for some people.
For example:
In 2024, we published a report titled ADHD. And How Do You Plan? which was recognized in the StRuNa competition for student research groups. This study analysed challenges related to planning for individuals with ADHD and sought solutions to help them manage their time effectively. The authors focused on identifying the most useful features in planning apps for people with ADHD.
The research included three parts:
- Desk research
- Benchmark analysis of applications
- Focus groups and individual interviews
The interviews highlighted how people with ADHD use planning tools and the difficulties they encounter. The findings revealed which app features genuinely support their planning efforts and where technology falls short. The report concludes with three key insights: the needs of ADHD users met by current apps, unmet challenges, and areas where apps fail entirely.
Beyond Reports:
We organize workshops, outdoor activities, and events for both students (like academic conferences) and the local community (such as city games). At briefly., instead of endless emails, we meet regularly to brainstorm and plan everything we want to accomplish—while ensuring everyone enjoys the process.
We’re not resting on our laurels and are always preparing for what’s next. Because just a dot is never enough.

COMMON

Chairman: Michał Zaciewski
Supervisor: dr Paweł Pawiński
So, what’s COMMON all about?
At COMMON, it’s always been about taking action—however you choose to define it.
We began as a group of friends passionate about the creative industry. Today, we engage in diverse activities: researching, creating content, and organizing events. Our favourite projects are those that bring tangible value to students. We believe knowledge and skills are meant to be shared.
What Do We Do?
We MAKE THINGS. From branding projects to inspiring meetups with creative industry leaders, we tackle challenges by collaborating with agencies, startups, freelancers, and private businesses.
Our Events Include:
- KONCEPTY: A student competition that involves solving strategic or creative briefs prepared by industry partners. Participants present their ideas and receive feedback from experts, gaining real-world experience and enhancing their portfolios.
- OFFTOP: A casual series where we explore brand and cultural phenomena that often don’t get enough attention in class. The format is simple: first, we watch something (like old and new ads, pop culture videos, or conference talks), then we discuss it in depth.
